Game Head is a gaming blog about understanding your games and getting your stream ready. You’ll find guides for specific questions, explanations of streaming equipment and a calendar of selected eSports events. Our aim is to help you choose a useful next step, whether that means improving a game strategy, fixing your audio or deciding what you need before buying.
Arthur and Game Head
Arthur’s interest in games began in the 1990s. Pokémon Red, Donkey Kong 64 and Paper Mario are among the games he remembers from growing up. That interest is the starting point for Game Head: a place to share useful explanations about games and the technology around them.

- Games: Our game guides explain mechanics and practical choices. For example, the GTA Online nightclub guide separates safe income from warehouse sales.
- Streaming: Start with OBS Studio setup, or compare the connections and controls in our microphone buying guide. The Twitch sub calculator helps you try different revenue assumptions.
- eSports: The CS2 tournament calendar collects selected upcoming events and links to organiser information. Check the organiser before making plans; schedules can change.
How our guides are prepared
For information that can change, we look for the source closest to the subject: publisher updates, platform help pages, organiser announcements and manufacturer documentation. We link to those sources where they help you check a claim. Game versions, dates and the assumptions behind a calculation matter, so we aim to make them clear in the relevant guide.
Our updated microphone guides are feature-based buying advice. They compare manufacturer information about connections, controls and accessories; they do not present an original sound test of those models. Each explains the basis of the comparison. A recommendation for a particular setup is not a claim that we have tested the product ourselves. A practical test should say what was tested and how.
Examples and calculators are there to explain a decision. An estimated figure depends on the inputs, and is not a promise of game rewards, Twitch income or future results. You can read the assumptions alongside the Twitch income guide and change them in the calculator.
Affiliate links and funding
Some buying guides include affiliate links. If you buy through one of those links, we may receive a commission from the retailer. That can help fund the blog. Our updated microphone buying guides carry a visible advertising notice explaining their Amazon links. Check the exact product, seller, bundle and current terms in the shop before ordering.
A product’s advertised price or brand name does not tell you whether it solves your problem. Our buying advice focuses on the features relevant to the setup, and points out what to check before spending money.
Questions, corrections and ideas
If something in a guide seems wrong or outdated, send us the article link and the section you mean. A source or a short description of what changed helps us investigate. Questions about a game, a streaming problem or a topic you would like covered are welcome too.
Use the contact page or email kontakt@game-head.com. Game Head publishes English and German versions of its guides; use the language menu to switch when both versions are available.
