Legend of Mushroom Leveling: Lamps, EXP and Auto Settings

To level your character, use lamps to obtain gear, compare it with what you wear, and sell unwanted equipment for EXP and coins. Spend those coins on your magic lamp, and keep collecting lamps from the activities already available to you. Character level, lamp level and your stock of lamps are three different things.

How lamps turn into character EXP

The important step is the sale. Opening a lamp gives you an item; the equipment you sell returns EXP and gold. Compare useful upgrades before selling, especially when an item has the affixes your class needs.

Leveling loop: open lamps, compare gear, sell unwanted items for EXP and coins, then upgrade the magic lamp.

The lamp upgrade screen shows current and next-level quality chances. Upgrading the lamp changes those chances. Opening a larger batch helps process your stock faster; choose the batch size and stop rules separately.

Set up auto-use without losing useful gear

Auto-use unlocks at character level 16, according to Guides by Grace’s illustrated lamp guide. That is a character-level requirement, not a requirement to upgrade the lamp itself to level 16.

  1. Open the cog beside the magic lamp after auto-use is available.
  2. Choose the available batch size for your lamp.
  3. Set a rarity stop rule and, where available, the affixes you want to inspect.
  4. Start with a small batch. Check whether an item is kept for inspection or sold before leaving a large stock running.
  5. Revisit your rules after changing class or replacing several pieces of gear.

The illustrated auto-use walkthrough shows the cog, rarity criteria and Start control. If opening pauses, look for equipment waiting for your decision and check the stop criteria before assuming the lamp is broken.

Where to find magical lamps

AFK rewards

Collect the idle chest when you return. Its panel shows the lamps accumulated and the rate for your account. Check any optional ad reward on that screen before deciding whether it is worth your time.

Assault Lamp Thief

Look for the lamp thief in the dungeon menu. Clear an available difficulty and collect the lamp reward. Read the remaining-key counter and reward preview before another attempt; use the free entries available to your account before considering paid extras.

Luck wheel

Use available free spins and check the reward pool. Lamps are one possible reward, so do not plan a guaranteed lamp total from a random wheel. Optional advert spins depend on the offers shown in your game.

Clan store

An active clan gives you a place to use clan currency. Check whether its shop currently offers lamps or lamp-thief keys, what they cost and how many you may buy. Read those limits in the shop rather than spending currency against an old price list.

Glory shop and other offers

When a PvP shop offers lamps, compare the bundle with the other items bought using the same currency. The screenshot below illustrates an older Glory Shop offer; use the price and limit displayed in your own shop for a purchase.

A short daily leveling routine

  1. Collect idle rewards and check the lamp stock.
  2. Use available lamp-thief entries and collect completed task rewards.
  3. Check free wheel attempts and any useful clan offers.
  4. Inspect equipment upgrades, then sell unwanted gear for EXP and coins.
  5. Put coins toward the next lamp upgrade and check your auto-use filters.

Leveling questions

How do you get magical lamps in Legend of Mushroom?

Start with idle rewards and the lamp-thief dungeon. Then check task rewards, free wheel attempts and the shops you have unlocked. Available attempts, bundles and optional adverts are shown in your game.

How do you level up quickly in Legend of Mushroom?

Keep the equipment loop moving: open lamps, compare useful items and sell the rest for EXP. Upgrade the lamp and configure auto-use so repeated inspection of unsuitable gear does not interrupt every batch.
